A typical sauna “session” consists of 1-3 “rounds” rotating between the sauna and cooling down either in a cold plunge, rinse or just hanging outside to drop your body temp before re-entering the barrel for another “round”. Typically, you want to be sweating in the sauna before you exit to cool down. End your sauna session with a cold dip or rinse to maximum energy benefits. Ending warm is better if you’ll be going to sleep shortly after.

We encourage you to listen to your body and enjoy the experience. It typically takes time to get used to sauna and your own ritual may change with more experience.

• Community Sauna is $30 for a one hour sauna session for locals (SLO County residents) and $40 for out-of-towners. You can buy a 5 & 10 pass or monthly unlimited pass for frequent sauna users to lower the cost per sesh!

• A rental is delivered for $500/single day over night. Delivery is free within 10 miles of San Luis Obispo. An additional delivery fee is calculated per mile if you are outside of the 10 mile radius.

As a member, you can attend unlimited sessions per month with a few caveats - join the club and get the best bang for your sauna buck!

  • For no-shows: there is a $15 no-show fee for members. We want to encourage responsibility & communication so more guests can access sauna on a regular basis. Our policy is to cancel or reschedule up until 2 hours prior of your session to receive credit back for a future booking.

You can reschedule & cancel yourself via Acuity. You can also transfer your booking to someone else - think of your sauna hour like a concert ticket - feel free to give it to a friend if you can't make it last minute. They can show up at your time slot & provide your name and sign a new waiver. We're a family owned and operated small business - thanks for your support.

For centuries in Finland sauna has been called “the poor man’s pharmacy”. Many many studies have been done on the various health benefits of frequent sauna use and cold water exposure. They include cardiovascular, pain relief, skin health, decreased inflammation, increased immune function, healthy dopamine release and more.

We also know by experience - it feels amazing and brings almost instant JOY to most people. If you have any health concerns, always consult with your doctor before partaking.

After every rental or community session, our sauna bench is cleaned with natural & effective products. The sauna reaches up to 200 degrees, which acts as a natural disinfectant. Also, our sauna is made from cedar wood which is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
